A proprietary standard
Our clinician-led quality standard, developed at Imperial College London, allows us to assess clinics against evidence-based criteria.
17 themes, 26 sub-themes
Our criteria covers clinical practice, patient safety culture, systems thinking and clinical governance. Each criteria carries a specific weight, relative to its importance.
Country agnostic
QA frameworks are often tied to country-specific regulations. Ours is evidence-based, allowing us to evaluate standards independently of jurisdiction.

Shortlisting
Initial screening and desk-based assessment of the clinic's credentials, accreditations and public record.
Questionnaire & Interview
We gather further data through an structured online questionnaire and a virtual interview. The quality of the responses is as important as the behaviours observed.
On-site Assessment
In-person site assessment against The Qalyup Standard, spanning clinical practice, infection prevention standards and team dynamics.
Monitoring
We track PREMs and PROMs alongside changes to patient's quality of life. This allows us to measure impact.
